The school is currently advertising for a part-time Administrative Assistant and for a Caretaker.

 

Administrative Assistant

Term time only, 17.5 hours weekly (5 mornings)

Grade 5; Scale point 14-18; (£9.16-9.78 p/hour; £17,681-£18,870,253 FTE pro rata)

Start Date: ASAP

Contract: Initially temporary until 31st March 2019, when there will be a review of our administrative function.

 

The role will involve front of house contact with parents and visitors in the mornings along with a range of day to day administrative tasks, working with the office manager to support the Headteacher and wider staff.

The role is for 17.5 core hours per week (5 mornings), term time only, 8.30am-12.00pm, but may involve additional hours by agreement.

Caretaker

Term time only, Core 30 hours weekly (Split hours: mornings and late afternoon)

Grade 5; Scale point 14-18; (£9.16- £9.78 p/hour; £17,681-£18,870 FTE pro rata)

Start Date: December 1st or ASAP.

Contract: 52 week/year contract, permanent

 

The role will be to ensure the security, safety and up keep of the school and grounds, performing various caretaking functions and completing/overseeing statutory checks and a planned maintenance programme.

 

We are looking for someone who is:

• Skilled in a variety of practical/DIY areas

• Independent and pro-active

• Calm, organised and professional

• Flexible with a ‘can do’ attitude’

The role is for 30 core hours per week (7.30-9.30; 3.00-6.00+ 1hr), for 52 weeks a year with holidays taken during school holidays by arrangement. Existing and additional hours can be flexible by agreement relating to maintenance schedule, planned projects and availability for lettings.
