We are delighted to announce that we were in the top 1% of schools nationally for our combined reading, writing and maths data for the end of Key Stage 2 last academic year.

In addition, we were in the top 200 schools, in the country, for our Year 4 Multiplication Tables Check (MTC).

Welcome to Barnack

Welcome to Barnack School, set in the most wonderful grounds right at the heart of the community. It is a school with an exciting spirit and one I encourage you to visit.

Our children are at the heart of this spirit and all that we do. The children are bright, alert, thoughtful and curious about learning and life. It is, therefore, an absolute privilege to be part of their learning journey.

Barnack children talk with great clarity about developing their leadership skills, being brave in their learning and caring for their world. Incredible, all the characteristics we need our children to have as global citizens.

It is therefore our job to work alongside parents to make this happen!

Inspiring our learners to become independent, courageous thinkers. Prepared to explore life's opportunities with creativity and care

House Points

Back in 2017, we had a competition to name our 4 school houses. A former pupil chose surnames from the War memorial in the village of men from Barnack who lost their lives in World War 1. They are: Latchford, Dawson, Parker, Vipan. The school logos have poppies in the background so we can remember them.

Every pupil at Barnack has the opportunity to earn house points for their house and each week house points are shared in our celebration assembly.  At the end of each term, the winning house gets a reward.
