Children in Need 2021 With Children in Need (19th November) fast approaching, we are excited to share with you the activities that we are planning to run in school in order to raise awareness and donations this year. Dressing up This year, Children in Need are partnering up with BBC One’s Strictly Come Dancing to bring some glitz and glamour to this year’s Appeal. With this in mind, we are asking children to ‘Get your strictly on’ when dressing up this year. We are encouraging creativity and sparkle! Alternatively, we are still happy for children to dress up in clothes relating to Children in Need or Pudsey. We are asking for a £1 donation from anyone dressing up. Inter-class bake sale This year each class will be holding their own bake sale at break and lunchtime. Therefore, we welcome any cakes or sweet treats that can be baked at home ready to be sold. Please bring in any donations the evening before or in the morning for these. Virtual talent show This is our main event this year! Children in Need are encouraging everyone to take to the stage, therefore as a school we would like to hold our own talent show. Any child, from any year group, with any talent can take part. Please see the talent show poster for all the details you need to get involved. We appreciate any involvement!
