Forest School Fun!
The Reception class had a fantastic Forest School session this week. We did lots of problem solving trying to make a zip wire to carry a basket, just like Mrs Grinling did in the story of ‘The Lighthouse Keeper’s Lunch’. It was very tricky but we were resilient and kept trying! Here are some photos of our zip wires. Mrs Grinling always sends a special lunch to the lighthouse for Mr Grinling because he works so hard looking after the lighthouse. We had worked hard too and had a special treat – toasted marshmallows sandwiched in digestive biscuits - they were delicious!
