As the Spring term comes to a close, Year 5 continue to work hard in areas of the curriculum.
In English we are writing descriptions based on characters from the story of Odysseus' travels after the Trojan war. We have transported our thinking back to Ancient Greece and debated whether men and women should have the same rights. To commemorate Science week, we built and flew hoop flyers and this week we have looked at building simple mechanisms, such as pulleys. levers and gears.
