It's Good to Be Greek!

Year 5 have travelled back in time to ancient Greece this week and engaged in a whole range of Greek activities. We have welcomed History Off The Page who delivered an outstanding day of Greek-themed learning. The children have carved ancient Greek designs onto soap bars; made miniature clay pots, designed frescos; created charm necklaces to please the gods and discovered ancient Greek tiles. The afternoon was spent practicing and performing Greek tragedies for a very appreciative audience. It was especially nice to receive amazing feedback from Arkon who said that the children were an absolute pleasure to teach for the day, An especially huge thank you to the parents who came in to school to help, we could not have run the day so smoothly without you.
