As the half term comes to an end and we head off for a well earned rest, Year 5 will be thinking fondly of their geography lessons this week. The children learned all about volcanoes, and their structures. We looked at the different types and shapes of volcanoes, the layers and chambers, and construct our own using Playdoh - before cutting them open and having a unique view inside. Year 5 also had an excellent day in the forest school area, choosing between bridge building, wool weaving and made jewelry out of things that we found. Did we mention the Smores.....Yum
