Year 4 have been focusing on character descriptions in their reading and writing lessons since the start of term. We identified the features and spent some time unpicking wow words, expanded noun phrases and similes.
We have taken inspiration from character descriptions we have looked at to create our own Viking characters. We thought carefully about their appearance and personality. Finally, we used this planning to create our own character descriptions this week!
