Summer time and the learning is easy....

As we enter the final term, Year 5 are taking the opportunity to capitalise on the learning they have engaged in through out the year.

We have masterfully learnt an awe-inspiring country dance - such a shame that we were unable to share the fruits of our labours with the wider world.

In music sessions, we have also been learning about music from the heart of Detroit as we familiarised ourselves with Motown and 'Dancing in the Street' and Mr F delighted the children with historical dad dancing.

In art we have brought our learning of abstract expressionism to a head and produced artwork inspired by Piet Mondrian's use of colour and created our own wonderful pieces.
