Day 2- Not even the morning downpour was going to dampen our mood on day two. This morning, we had a hearty full English before dodging the downpour with some time in the Playbarn. As we braved the calming weather, we headed for a tour of the mill before forming our own flour which we turned into delicious pancakes.
After burning off our pancakes in the big adventure park, our stone baked pizzas arrived for lunch along with the sun which was well appreciated. In the afternoon we had a carousel of activities: African art, chocolate making and blacksmithing - all of which the children loved. We ventured out for a delicious BBQ for dinner which was finished off with S’mores. In the evening sun, we enjoyed a highly competitive game of football along with free time in the park. Another thoroughly joyful day, full of memory making.
