We have had a lovely first day in the sun: we arrived this morning and had time to sort out tents before heading off to do some orienteering around the farm and meeting the different animals. This was followed by our lunch before heading out on a wild flower hunt with ice lollies. For an afternoon snack the children foraged in the vegetable garden, before washing and eating the fruit and veg. The children then enjoyed some fun in the sun at the park before we headed in for dinner.
This evening we are venturing down to the stream for some play in the water to top off a fabulous first day.
