Year 3 certainly started the summer term in an adventurous and exciting way! Our trip to Ferry Meadows was an enormous success and all the children throughly enjoyed their first trip away with school. The camping in the bell tents with their friends was an experience they will never forget and their resilience on being away from home for the night should be commended.
The sun shone on the first day and all of the children threw themselves straight into the watersports' activities with gusto! They enjoyed canoeing, kayaking, peddalos and more, conquering fears and learning new skills. On the second day the children enjoyed the climbing wall, forest school activities and team building. The children respresented Barnack School impecably, making new friends as we shared our camping experience with children from Winyates Primary School. They should be very proud of themselves and I am sure very excited for the next adventure at Grafham. Well done year 3!
